I also like the use of black and white prison garb stripes to symbolize the hobbliness and imprisonment (or vulnerability) that women must experience when wearing high heels.
they look amazing. beautiful. perfectly balanced. and most of all nonchalantly alive. you create magic dear scottradke. i am sure they will steal the show. they simply must.
I recently ordered on of your posters online and I was so excited that you signed it for me. That is very thoughtful towards fans who adore your work.
So I framed and hung mine. Maybe one day I'll be able to afford a marionette or one of your actual painting to hang on my wall. Thank you again. - Laura Cox
ahaha no matter how hard i try to make pleasant looking faces they always come out drawn and sad looking. i'm feeling comfortable and content these days but my work still comes out moody. strange. i'm 33 years old but my work is still 22. sorry to ramble.
These are wondrous. You never cease to amaze with your incredible imagination!! I love the shape of their little bodies in the shoes. They just make me go ooooooooooh:} and never has a little face looked quite as sad as these two!!
Lol! At first...I was like are those chili pepper...? Then realized they were shoes...hehe! These really are Fantastic! I want to see what everyone else does for thier entry...cause if they are as imaginative as your entry...This will be a phenomenal show!
I cannot wear pointy toed shoes....but these give me hope that one day I may find full-body pumps of my own....and YES I would wear them!!! I wish I could see the full show!!!! Well done!
Your work is gorgeous and otherworldly, leaving me to Look and Look. I have placed You at mine side as such beauty conjures a smile at mine lips. Thank you for this.
Hey! I was in this shoe show too! Crazy... I just found out about your puppets I love them! I know you probably get this all the time but, if you ever want to trade a puppet for a painting or drawing let me know. http://dereknobbs.com
