The owls ARE awsome! I assume they are sitting in holes in trees ( I am sure there is a name for them), the texture on the holes is perfect! Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.

I like these! They are almost Christ-like in their mandorla-like holes. They could go in the portals of some bizarre gothic cathedral of the woodland fauna.

excellent works. my hubby bands Sawwhet owls, and i dig your concept of the little hooters. as a fan (quiet as i am, no comment :) i'm happy to see you add them to your group of "little beings". anticipating the final result!!

I just saw a dragonfly like that. We called him "Black Hawk Down" because he looked like some army helicopter.

I give a hoot about the owls, they are really amazing. Can't wait to see them done!
