i didn't realize they were so big, i always pictured these sort of fitting in the palm of one's hand. [the fish are my favorites]

I love your work. The creatures are so unique, scary, but beautiful. I love the detail you paint on each creature. Do you use acrylic or oil paint? Sculpey is a wonderful material to work with...and works especially well with difficult appendages (such as your Meerkat's little feet supporting the larger body)..Some of the work you do could be done in clay, while others are almost impossible without an armature. Sorry I'm just trying to figure out the material you use. My guess is sculpey but I could be wrong. Do you mind me asking what you use?

thanks a lot. i use a lot of stuff. sculpy, epoxy clay, pretty much whatever works for what i am making. acrylic paints.
always some sort of armature.

we just got back from the show and your work was so awesome! you stole the back room. wish you could have seen it. these fish were my favorite - if i didn't have 13' brick barrel-rolled ceilings i would have bought one. there were so many red dots! congrats!!

Swan #24....It's image is iconic...someone is very lucky to aquire that piece. Everything is awesome...and the response looks fantastic..pop that cork...lol...or pay the gas bill...take your pick. Fantastic !!!!!
